kersplat!

Did you hear that? It was my brain exploding. I just submitted forms for entries into the Orange County Fair for my needle felt art. Um... yeah.

One will be an original piece (TBD) and the other will need to embody the fair's theme of "Say Cheese" (celebrating cows, cheese, and cameras). So... yeah.

I'm looking forward to experimenting with some stuff. And who knows? Last time I entered a competition, I walked out with two ribbons. Although, those were for collections and not crafts, but STILL. The mojo with the Fair is good.

I think the felt art's going to be a hit. People are going to be all, "What the..??" That should get you a ribbon at LEAST.

Tinkerbell in felt???

Oh, I forgot about the cheese, cows and cameras thing.

Maybe an upright, human-ish cow taking a photo-op with Tink while the cow's holding a brick of cheese?

If the judges are completely high, you're a shoo-in to win.

I grew up submitting artwork to local fairs (and there are a LOT of them out here in the boonies). They only give ribbons? Not cash? Because I made a pretty penny. I was tempted to submit things last year but I ran out of time and inclination.
